Area 51, also
officially known as Groom Lake[1] or Homey Airport
(ICAO: KXTA) is
a remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base. It is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western
United States, 83 miles (133 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. Situated at
its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, is a
large military airfield. The base's current primary purpose is officially
undetermined; however, based on historical evidence, it most likely supports
development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems.
Research the history of Area 51. Find as many facts as possible. Use the following to guide your blog

could be taking place? Do you believe there could be UFO’s that have been
covered up by the government? If this area is not a secret, why is everything

I think that Area 51 so intriguing because no one knows what goes on there. Many people speculate that it has something to do with aliens, but I'm not sure about that. It could be some secret military weapon or vehicle. The people working there probably have a reason for not wanting people to know what goes on there. What do you think happens inside the wall of Area 51?
ReplyDeletethere are many possibilities of what could be hiding at area 51. I don't think that they are hiding aliens or UFOs at area 51, but i do think they are hiding something. I think they are hiding some from maybe important parts of history that could scare the united states. i think that what area 51 is full of, secrets the the military found, and they don't want to scare us so they keep it inside the walls and do not let it out.

DeleteI personally think that area 51 is very interesting, and compelling to research about. I do think that they are hiding something there, but I can't quite put my finger in what exactly it is. maybe they are hiding aliens, or secrets about historic events. until they decide to open the doors and let us in we'll never know. But I personally will be researching this further because I love this kind of stuff.

There is little evidence to support any theory, so I respect them all. Clairej6 though has a good answer because she is stating more than one theory that makes sens. DeleteArea 51 is a weird topic if there are aliens does that mean that there are going to be any type of vehicle that will be made from there tech.If so that could lead to so many new inventions that could lead to stuff like being able to fix cancer. Or it could mean to new way to live.If aliens are real that could mean that we could live on different planets or find out new discoveries about the secrets of space.But if aliens do live then does that mean one day they could come one day and take over our planet and we would be there slaves.
ReplyDeleteI think the government is hiding something from the people of America. Area 51 is so famous and well know but we can not go inside the hangers and view that area. The military has built airplanes there before that no one has seen before. I do not think aliens or super military weapons are being built there but we might be wrong since we do not know very much about Area 51.
ReplyDeleteI think that there are many things that may be at area 51. I do not think that there are any aliens at area 51, but their may be weird things like animals that we haven't seen before or they haven't been classified yet. There may also be things that the military has found and they don't want to share with the world. They are probably hiding documents they may have recovered and weapons that will be used in the future for the military. These weapons may also be things we use in case the U.S.A is attacked or if we are in a major emergency.
ReplyDeleteI do not agree you Cameron because if there isn't any aliens there, then why haven't they told anyone that it is nothing to worry about? The government must have some secrets, but aliens? The whole world will know if there is aliens. Aliens can affect the world is many ways.
DeleteThe mystery of area 51 is a mystery that has deserved the name of mysterious. The fact that it has been unsolved for so long is a mystery let alone. What I think is going on is just a regular military base that's just gained a huge hype from people. The fact is that people just love to be thinking about a topic, and this is a good story. There could be something going on in there, but we might never know. Truth is that it might be best if we don't ever find out since it's a good story, that has sold millions in the entertainment business. That is what I think is the truth about area 51.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Zach because Area 51 has a lot of hype around it and it be best for America if we didn't find out. Area 51 is most likely a military base but one that has no media of what goes on inside. It will attract someones attention and make them wounder whats going on. If we really wanted to know by now we could have found out whats going on inside Area 51.
DeleteI think that they kept Area 51 a secret for years for many reasons. Yes they might have normal military weapons there, but if it was just that why did they keep it a secret? Why did they just say that it was just weapons? What else is in there? There has been a radio show many years ago where they got a call from a man flying over Area 51. He was describing what many people think that is there. Some of the things that he saw has evidence to back it up. Such as pictures from planes flying over head, and people who just take one step over the line. If you have been to the Little Alien witch is a Bar and Grill outside of Area. They have said that they have seen many strange things there at night. All of this can not be fake. there is just to much evidence to back it up.
ReplyDeleteI think that area 51 is a cover up for something more powerful than just a place where "UFOs" and "aliens" but more like a secret military outside of the US military we know. I think that they have been putting away weapons and items that would first scare some of the civilians around and that it would be confusing them too. But also I do not think that we are the only one's to exist in the universe but i do think that if there is anyone else out there that knew we have these "aliens" captive they would have come back and fought us by now. Whatever they are keeping inside of area 51 must have a purpose for being there and I personally do not want to find out.
