What makes the Bermuda triangle so intriguing is that there have been an abnormally large amount of plane crashes and ship disappearances. There is also no wreckage ever found. That's how the Bermuda triangle became famous. There are reports of strange compass readings where all it does is spin around and around. Some people say its extraterrestrials, some say its the weather, others say human errors. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI think that the reason why the Bermuda triangle is so popular is because of what is said before a plane or ship disappears. An extremely well-known disappearance is the U.S. military plane: flight 19. The pilot that day was Lt. Charles Carroll Taylor and before his plane disappeared he said that his compass was going haywire. This let scientists to believe that there is just extreme magnetic activity, some believe that there is paranormal activity in the triangle, and others believe that extraterrestrials abduct the planes and ships. There have been multiple Bermuda triangle disappearances, but flight 19 seems to be the most popular out of them all.
ReplyDeleteI think that when flight 19 disappeared it wasn't just because of a plane accident, something had to have happened. There have been many other things never seen again once they have gone over the Bermuda triangle. Those types of things don't just happen in the middle of the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThe excessive use of "...without a trace." is extra apparent when an article talks about the Bermuda triangle. However, it is rightly justified to do so for there has been many accounts of people disappearing "without a trace" in this area. As for intriguing, the Bermuda triangle definitely has that down with many primary sources of strange occurrences such as flaming lights or jacked up compasses. It's part of every human to want to know just how someone died. That's why this is so intriguing. It's hard to have a common theory to cover every possible thing that has happened and what will happen. However, the reason for the compasses being wrong and spinning is that the magnetic fields are different in that part of the world more than any other part. and as for the disappearances. a good explanation is that a instrument relying on magnetic fields will fail and thus making the victim sink into the ocean. where they will never be found.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of your statement i disagree. Perhaps ships sink but why is no wreckage found? Airplanes may not be able to use their instruments but why are they never found? Some say time flows differently in the triangle and they travelled through time. It may not be very believable but there's something we do not yet understand going on there.
DeleteThe Bermuda triangle is strange and mysterious because there is a very large number of ships and planes that have disappeared in the boundaries of the triangle. My theory is that when Christopher Columbus saw the meteor crash into the ocean i think it sunk to the bottom and some parts of it stayed there today. I think there's a magnetic gravitational pull in the middle of the triangle. That explains the compass being off. Other people today say that the hand on their watches sometimes spin around. So i think that it pulls the boat towards the middle of the ocean causing it to get lost or sink. I don't think there will ever be a naturally explained answer but I don't think that it's paranormal reasons either. It may just be a coincidence.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Alexis in many parts here. I do believe there is a magnetic gravitational pull that drags ships towards the middle which is what causes the ship to sink. When Alexis pointed out how Christopher Columbus saw his meteor crash, that can be part of the magnetic pull in the center of the ocean there. I also agree that there is no natural explained answer. People today still have not found the story behind this mystery. All we know is of what other people have recorded passing through the Bermuda Triangle. It is not necessarily a paranormal reason, but there sure is something mysterious happening around there.
DeleteI agree with Alexis mostly, but I am not sure that the magnetic pull from the meteor would reach the surface. The ocean's depth there is around 8,000 to 10,000 feet deep. I do not think that a magnetic force could be that strong. I agree with the fact that there is most likely no paranormal activity there and also that there are probably no aliens. I am just not sure about a magnetic pull being that strong even though most meteorites are magnetic.
DeleteI agree with Alexis, because the magnetic pull from the meteor that could be at the very bottom of the ocean would be the most reasonable explanation for ships sinking or planes disappearing. The magnetic pull could be pulling things down deep in the ocean. This also explains why compasses aren't capable of being used in the Bermuda Triangle. We still haven't figured out this mystery, but maybe someday we will.
DeleteThe Bermuda triangle is so strange and mysterious because planes and ships would either fly over or go into it with a boat and just vanish, since people know that has happened to other people then why would they even go over that way? maybe to see if it is true maybe, but the only reason i would ever want to go over there is to see if it feels like i have been there for two weeks and i have only been there for two days. What makes the Bermuda triangle so intriguing is that so many planes and boats have just dissapeared. my personal theory on this matter is that i want to know how this works, the Bermuda triangle has became so famous because scientist just don't know how these planes and boats just vanish like that. People have said that when you go into the Bermuda triangle and your in a plane it feels like you have been flying in that plane all day and really you have only been flying for about an hour.
ReplyDeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is so strange and Mysterious because ships and planes would just vanish without a trace. This place is intriguing because there are so many cases of complete disapearence. I do not believe that the Bermuda Triangle has anything to do with paranormallity, but I do think it is a little strange how so many planes and ships could go missing in the same area.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason why the Bermuda Triangle is so mysterious because of all the disappearances of ships and aircrafts. That's what makes it so intriguing. My theory on it is that their maybe a mechanical pulse at the bottom of the Bermuda that causes all those disappearance.
ReplyDeleteI think the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are due to bad pilots, tides, and storms. I don't think any paranormal activity occurred because their is no evidence to back up any of the theories. Also if you look at the disappearances, there haven't been any in the past 45 years. That just goes to show that our technology has improved to the point that the safety of our planes and boats don't get effected by freak storms and winds like they used to. Lastly, nowadays we don't have bad pilots because you need a license, something that may have either been unnecessary or easier to get back 50 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThere are many theories to the Bermuda Triangle. Most people believe all the planes and ships that disappeared right in that area sunk to the bottom of the ocean. The Atlantic Ocean in that area has many deep trenches where it makes it very hard for humans to see down it. The Atlantic also is about 27,000 ft. below sea level. This is where most people agree on where all these disappearances would be found. Another theory is mechanical issues happening. There is evidence showing how people's compasses and watches would stop working. No one knows for sure, but a few researchers believe whatever is making the watch and compass stop working could be a source to possibly making the engine stop working in a vehicle passing threw. There is no perfectly natural explanation to this, and there are no traces or signs of people or ships anywhere. The Bermuda Triangle remains a paranormal mystery.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Molly because it's true that whatever is making the compasses and watches spin and not work may interfier with the engine of the ship as well. It may make the ship not work right. I also agree that the Bermuda Triangle will remain a mystery. There is no defintite answer. It's very possible though that the engine of the ship stopped working, causing the boat to sink down very, very deep in the atlantic. Same with planes there engine could stop working and crash land in the water and sink.
DeleteI agree with Molly. The ships that dissaperaed had to have gone somewhere. Most logically, the air crafts and ships are below sea level and it would be hard to search down that far. Also, if the compasses are acting up, it would most likely mess with the engines of many ships and planes. Would the thing that makes compasses spin also be able to make planes so high up crash land? The Bermuda Triangle will hold these secrets forever.
DeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is strange and mysterious because many ships and air crafts have gone missing. There is no logical explanation as to how the Bermuda Triangle could make crafts disappear. I believe that whatever is making the compasses malfunction is also making the ships and planes crash into the water. 27,000 feet below sea level is where I believe many missing people, ships, and planes are.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Karly. I don`t think the Bermuda Triangle causes things to disappear by a magnetic gravitational pull, paranormal activities, or big storms. I agree with karly when she said there is no logical explanation as to how the Bermuda Triangle could make crafts disappear. Also when she said the cause for the compasses to malfunction and the same cause that ships and planes crash into the water.Nobody for sure knows what cause things to crash and never let people return but we all know that the Bermuda Triangle is strange and mysterious
DeleteI agree with Karly. There is no real explanation of why all of the compasses get messed up over that area. I also agree with her because she said the Bermuda Triangle doesn't just makes things disappear, they went somewhere. I believe that all of the missing planes and ships are 27,000 feet under water like Karly said. We may never know what happens in the Bermuda Triangle and that is why it is strange and mysterious.
DeleteI agree with Karly because I feel that when she said that the planes and ships have the same reason for disappearing, I felt that was right because there really is no explanation for them disappearing. I also agree with her because I also think that the planes and ships would be 27,000 feet under water because it doesn't make sense where else they would go. Nobody really knows what happened but it is for sure that the Bermuda Triangle is strange and mysterious.
DeleteMost people that know about the Bermuda Triangle would say it's very strange and mysterious. They might say this because so many planes have crashed and so many ships have sunk in that area. Others say that the Bermuda Triangle is just a myth. Although, so many ships and planes crash there and nobody can seem to find what went wrong. One plane called Flight 19 crashed in the area and they couldn't find any damage or anything wrong with plane. To this day the Bermuda Triangle still remains a mystery.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with Alexis. I still believe that the planes and ships are snatched when they are surrounded by clouds. The planes don't have anything wrong with them and that is the problem. How can a plane crash if there is nothing wrong with it? The planes and ships would not be flying or sailing if there was something wrong with it. The magnetic cloud around the planes causes the planes compasses to go haywire and causes their engines to stop working which causes them to crash into the ocean and to never be heard of again. The magnetic pull, pulls the ships under water causing them to never be heard of again either.
DeleteWhat makes the Bermuda triangle so mysterious is the many disappearance and plane crashes within the Triange. Its intriguing because of the amount of lost planes and ships in the area. This theory is so popular because a plane called Flight 19th crashed within the triange in which military training was taking place. I don't want to say this case is paranormal, but what else could have caused all these destructions in the area?
ReplyDeleteThere`s many different theories about the Bermuda triangle. I don`t think that there were any mystical creatures like aliens, or hurricanes that made ships and planes disappear. It could`ve been a current in the water, but that doesn`t explain why planes and anything that is flying in the air wouldn`t return to where they came from. I think that the people that sail away and never returned just went somewhere else. I think they just wanted to start a story instead of being the first person to survive and come back from the Bermuda Triangle.
ReplyDeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is intriguing because nobody knows exactly what happens in that area. There are lots of different theories on the Bermuda Triangle, but only a few make the most sense. I think that because the compasses and watches stop working that that could of messed with the engine since they are both mechanical. If things stop working that are needed then that could lead to devastating results, like the about the U.S. Cyclopes, 306 people and the ship just disappearing. How could that just happen? Why can’t we find numerous ships and planes that disappeared over that area? We may never know, but my theory is that something in that area causes terrible mechanical issues.
ReplyDeleteThe Bermuda Triangle is well over 200 miles deep, modern military submarines can only go about 800 feet deep. So finding a missing vessel on the bottom of the ocean is no easy task. As for how they got there, electrical interference in the area may have rendered their instruments useless, thus making them crash/sink into the ocean. I agree completely agree that something in the area is causing issues with the equipment, as for what it is though, that shall remain a mystery.
Deletei think the Bermuda Triangle has a big electrical current that messes up the planes and ships. if they go into a electrical current then when they are driving the boat or plane all of there gadgets would mess up. if that happen then they would have crashed. i think that when he saw the lights it was the electrical current. the reason i think some people came back is because sometimes the current wont always be as strong as it has been before. that is what i think about the mystery of people that have disappeared.
ReplyDeletemy theory to the Bermuda Triangle is that planes and ships just disappear out of nowhere. It seems that they are snatched out of sight when clouds or the electrical fog is surrounding them. It seems the Bermuda Triangle doesn't mess with cruise ships and picks on normal ships and military aircraft or people that why it is behaving like it is and thinks it is smarter then us.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with alexisl6 for several reasons. My main disagreement is where I know that her theory of the land and aircraft "disappearing out of nowhere"is false. The different crafts can't just disappear. There has to be a logical explanation such as strong winds and vortexes. Also my other issue is where she says that it "thinks that is smarter then us." Just know that places can't think. Also the reason it takes down military jets and normal ships but not cruise ships is the size. It would be a lot harder for something to sink a large cruise ship then small aircraft and small boats.
